Restro BT Printer Service
Bluetooth ESC/POS thermal printer service utility. Bridges POS application prints directly with standard 58mm and 80mm Bluetooth hardware with custom auto-scaling.
Setup & Installation Instructions
Since these are Android applications loaded directly (.apk files), you will need to allow installation from unknown sources on your Android device:
- Open your device Settings.
- Go to Security or Privacy (varies by manufacturer).
- Look for Install Unknown Apps or Unknown Sources and enable permissions for your browser/file manager.
- Turn on your 58mm or 80mm thermal receipt printer.
- Go to Android Bluetooth Settings and pair your device with the printer (usually labeled MPT-II, Bluetooth Printer, etc. PIN: usually
0000or1234). - Open the Restro BT Printer Service app, grant Bluetooth permissions, and select your paired printer from the list.
- Tap Test Print to ensure proper connection.
Once both apps are running, launch Get Restro POS. When printing a bill or kitchen KOT, it will automatically prompt the printer service to render the layout. Ensure background service processes are allowed on your Android settings for the printer driver to stay connected in the background.
